Family and friends of Dartford teenager Hannah Coan who was killed in a road accident are appealing for funds to buy a headstone and memorial bench for her.

Hannah, 18, died last month after being struck by a car just yards from her house.

A headstone will cost £3,500 and a memorial bench - to be placed in Central Park - will cost £400.

Family friend Amanda Churchman said: “I started fundraising to help my dear friend Sharon be able to afford to give her beloved daughter the best headstone ever as she is not in a position to afford to.

“I know as a community we are shocked and saddened by Hannah’s death and if you would like to help this is a way that you can, please try to give something.”
