Fire breaks out in second floor of Gravesend home

Crews were called on Monday evening

Firefighters are trying to establish the cause of a blaze which broke out in a Gravesend home yesterday (Monday).

Crews were called to a three-storey property in Parrock Road just before 7.40pm.

On arrival they discovered the second floor was ablaze, with crews using a high-pressure hose reel jet to battle the flames.

By 8.40pm the fire had been put out.

No injuries were reported at the scene.

The cause of the fire is not currently known.
