Fire crews called to blaze at former gurdwara in Gravesend

Smoke was seen from the roof of the building

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire at a Gravesend gurdwara on Saturday.

Smoke wa seen billowing from the roof of the former Sikh temple in Clarence Place.

A small amount of rubbish had caught alight on the ground floor of the building.

Crews were called to the scene just before 2.40pm and had the fire under just after 3.50pm.
