Fire started at back of one house, spread to another

Fire crews have now left the scene of a blaze in a group of terraced houses in Swanley.

Around 30 firefighters were called to Conifer Way, Swanley, at about 8.20am, after a fire thought to have started at the back of one of the houses spread to the roof and extension of a house next door.

Police and ambulance crews were also called, but there were no reports of any injuries, and crews finally left the scene at 10.40am.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
