Five arrested following serious fight at Dartford pub

Assault left man with broken eye socket
Detectives investigating a serious assault at a Dartford pub which left a man with a fractured eye socket have arrested five men in connection with the incident. The most recent, a 25-year-old, was arrested on 21 March.
Kent police were called in the early hours of Saturday, February 28 after it was reported a fight had broken out at the Courthouse pub in Spital Street.
It was reported a member of the pub’s door staff suffered head injuries and a fractured eye socket after having been assaulted with a chair. Several other members of the public were assaulted after attempting to intervene.
Detectives have been carrying out a number of enquiries and have made a series of arrests.
A 31-year-old man, an 18-year-old man, a 25-year-old man and a 32 year old man, all from Dartford, were arrested on suspicion of GBH and were bailed until 23 April pending further enquiries.
A fifth person, another 25-year-old man of no fixed address, was also arrested on suspicion of GBH and has been bailed until 6 May.
