Food donations are being sought to help less well-off families this March.

Throughout the month, Curves gym in Gravesend will be collecting non-perishable goods for their annual food drive.

All collected food will be donated to Home Start, a charity which give support to families with young children.

The gym, in Guru Nanak Sports Club, Trinity Road, will also waive its service fee for new members from March 1 to 15 in return for a bag of non-perishable goods.

Manager Annie Redelinghuys, said: “Collecting food during the annual drive is something which unites the Curves community. We’re delighted to champion Home Start.”

The Gravesend gym has been collecting and donating to charity during the annual food drive for the past three years and has so far collected in excess of 15 stone.
