Four teenagers arrested in Denton dispersal area

PUBLISHED: 10:20 14 December 2012

Four teenagers have been arrested in Dickens housing estate since police introduced a dispersal area to the troubled Denton zone.

Since the order has been in place, two 15 year olds and one 17 year old, all from Gravesend, have been arrested and reprimanded for refusing to disperse.

Chief Inspector Phil Painter said: “Since the dispersal area has been in place we have seen a substantial reduction in reports of anti-social behaviour and we have had some very positive comments from residents on the estate.”
