Free family picnic day in Dartford Park to celebrate Queen’s 90th Birthday

The ticketed event will take place next month

Dartford Borough Council is inviting children and their families to join together and celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday next month.

The council is inviting 250 local children aged 4-11 and their families to bring a blanket with a picnic and watch a range of performances.

On June 11, activities including birds of prey demonstrations, circus skills, Punch and Judy shows, crafts, face-painting and more will be at the Open Air Theatre in Dartford Park.

Leader of the council Jeremy Kite said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming lots of local children and their families to Central Park to celebrate Her Majesty’s 90th birthday.”

Tickets to this special event are free but must be booked in advance at as places are limited. Bookings will open on Tuesday 17th May 2016.
