Residents get free tickets to the August screenings

Dartford are set to host free outdoor cinema this summer, bringing E.T., The Jungle Book, and La La Land to the outdoors.

The council announced the line-up of two family-friendly movies, followed by the Oscar award winning film, for the August 2017 season in Central Park.

Council leader Jeremy Kite, said: “Summer wouldn’t be summer without cinema in the park. The event has now become a firm favourite with Dartford residents and I’m delighted the tickets are once again free for everyone. These are just three of the special events taking place in the borough this summer.”

The dates are as follows:

- E.T. (cert U): Wednesday, August 16.

- The Jungle Book (cert U): Wednesday, August 23.

- La La Land (cert 12A): Wednesday, August 30.

Tickets will be available to purchase from the council website, from late June - dartford.gov.uk
