More than 100 of the county’s tourist attractions are offering more than 17,000 free tickets to Kent people.

It is part of My Kent Big Weekend which will take place on March 23 and 24 and is now in its seventh year.

A ballot website goes fully live on Monday, January 28, when anyone can apply for a free ticket.

Attractions on offer include England’s two oldest cathedrals, family theme parks, farms, castles, vineyards and boat tours.

Sandra Matthews-Marsh, chief executive at Visit Kent, said: “My Kent Big Weekend is all about having fun and celebrating the variety of attractions and hidden gems which make our county such a popular destination for day visits and short breaks.”
