THIS week our Help A Pet appeal is looking for homes for a ginger cat and two white and black rabbits.

When Bobby's owners moved they deliberately left him behind to fend for himself.

His fosterer Teresa Bloomfield said: "How can people deliberately leave a domesticated cat like Bobby to his own ends? Luckily a neighbour called Anim-Mates and kindly brought him to us."

Bobby, who is thought to be about eight-years-old, has been health checked, vaccinated and microchipped and is ready to find a new home. If you can give him a home, call Teresa on 016 3427 1456 and 077 4333 1397.

The neutered rabbits, 18-month-old Jack and his partner Jill, want a home where they will be together. If you can offer them a home, call Terry on 078 2131 8241. To see all of the animals currently in the care of Anim-Mates visit the website at www.anim-mates.org.uk.
