An charity shop in Gravesend is due to reopen on Wednesday January 15 after a leak.

The King Street store helps fund local hospice care for adults and children.

Head of Retail Tim Stewart said: “We thank our customers for their understanding and patience and hope to see many people return to the shop when it opens.

“We are reliant on the income from our charity shops, and they are a great place for people to grab a bargain while also supporting their local hospice.”

The shop accepts donations of clothes, toys and household items and customers can also have furniture collected for free by calling 01322 626502.
