A mischievous dog has become a YouTube hit after joining commuters on their train journey from Gravesend into London.

Frankie the Jack Russell was caught on CCTV waiting for the 6.56am service into King’s Cross while his owners searched high and low for him back home.

He headed off with his fellow passengers and was undetected for 30 minutes until the train manager scooped him up.

Thirty miles away in London, a member of staff at the station phoned the number on Frankie’s collar and got through to his surprised owners who had to cough up £59 to buy tickets to collect their runaway pet.
