Gravesend driver charged after death smash in Higham

A 23-year-old man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a smash in Higham last year.
At 8.30pm on December 5, Kent Police was called to Lower Road after receiving reports that a Ford Fiesta and a Ford Focus had collided.
A 56-year-old woman from the Chatham area died at the scene and two men also sustained serious injuries.
Ian Matthew James Harvey, of Burdett Avenue in Gravesend, was charged on Thursday.
He was also charged with two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has been bailed to attend Medway Magistrates’ Court on June 1
