A Gravesend garden centre held a free pot planting demonstration to show that gardening can be fun.

Millbrook Garden Centres in Gravesend, Crowborough and Highgrove held free pot planting demonstrations in April.

This was part of the “It Starts with a Pot” campaign, organised by The Horticultural Trades Association (HTA), which aims to show that gardening does not have to be complicated and can actually be fun and straightforward.

Wendy Mackellow, Manager of Millbrook Garden Centre on Tubwell Lane in Jarvis Brook, said: “We wanted to show people that just by planting a few pots or containers, you can provide colour and impact to your outdoor space.”
