Gravesend man charged with handling stolen goods after £20k of power tools taken

A 27-year-old Gravesend man has been charged with handling stolen goods after £20,000 of power tools were stolen from a Queens Farm Road earlier this month.

Officers investigating a burglary at a utilities company in Queens Farm Road between December 21 and 23, where £20,000 of power tools and machinery were reported stolen, stopped a vehicle in Sun Lane, Gravesend on Monday December 23.

Following a search, a quantity of tools and machinery were seized and Tom Saunders, of Shamrock Road, Gravesend, was charged with handling stolen goods and has been bailed to appear at Dartford Magistrates’ Court on January 23.
