The first line-up of films at the new Paul Greengrass cinema at the Woodville has been announced.
Every Tuesday will be a “big film day” featuring top movies from 2012 with three showings at 1pm, 4pm and 7.30pm.
On Saturdays a family film morning will start at 10am and occasional Sunday Asian film screenings will take place at 3pm and 7pm.
The January film season starts with the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel a comedy drama with Dame Judi Dench, Bill Nighy and Maggie Smith.
Other big movie hits include Moonrise Kingdom, Toy Story 3, War Horse and Paranorman.
The launch marks the return of cinema to Gravesend seven years after the last picture house burned down in January 2006.
All screenings in the January are free and no booking is required.
