A group of solicitors are delighted after raising more than £5,000 for a good cause.

Manak Solicitors LLP, Windmill Street, Gravesend, took part in Will Aid in November 2013.

Solicitors who sign up to this fundraising initiative give people the chance to have their Will written professionally but instead of paying a fee they make a donation to one of nine leading UK charities.

These charities are Action Aid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, Sight Savers, SCIAF and Trocaire.

The suggested donation is £95 for a basic Will or £150 for a pair of basic mirror Wills.

Manak Solicitors LLP raised £5,250.00 for the nine Will Aid charities.

They enjoyed a busy and successful campaign, writing numerous Wills for people in the area, and plan to participate again in November this year.

The nationwide total currently stands at £1.5m which will be put towards making a real and lasting difference to vulnerable children, families and older people in the UK and around the world.
