A 48-year-old Gravesend woman has admitted setting six fires in as many days.
Julie Parker, 48, of Darnley Street, appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (July 3) after she was charged with six counts of arson.
She was arrested by Kent Police following a series of bin fires outside Gravesend businesses, starting on June 26.
Overnight from 8pm that night, a bin was set alight outside a car maintenance store in the Imperial Retail Park. Parker targeted the same business overnight on June 30.
She also set the bins of a carpet store in the same retail park alight overnight on June 26.
A pizza takeaway in West Street and another in Perry Street were also targets for her arson.
Parker will be sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court at a date yet to be set.
