Mayor of Gravesham Lyn Milner presents an Olympic sign to pupils and staff at Westcourt school, Gravesend

Twenty schools across Gravesham have been presented with original Olympics dressing such as banners and flags as part of the 2012 legacy.

Gravesham Mayor Lyn Milner presented Westcourt School in Silver Road with a large blue sign on Thursday.

P.E coordinator Lorraine Hughes said: “We are going to use it to decorate our new sports zone. The children were delighted to receive it. It highlights the Olympic legacy.”
