A woman struck taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Greenhithe has died from her injuries.

The woman, believed to be in her 50s, was hit in Cobham Terrace, close to the McDonalds at around 7.25am on Wednesday.

Police remained at the scene interviewing eyewitnesses and examining a van parked close to the scene.
