Heidi Range insists the transition from being the longest-serving member of chart-topping group Sugarbabes to star of Happy Days has been effortless.

Playing Pinky Tuscadero, Heidi says her performing background has put her in good stead when thrilling audiences up and down the country in the musical.

Speaking to What’s On, she says: “It has been going well. I think audiences have really enjoyed it because it’s such a fun show.

“At the end they are all up dancing.

“I am a singer but I get to do the acting too and that was a bit daunting at the beginning but performance is something I have studied.”

Happy Days – A New Musical also stars West End leading man and Emmerdale star, Ben Freeman, in the iconic role of The Fonz, alongside Cheryl Baker as Mrs Cunningham.

The show is written by Garry Marshall, the legendary creator of the television series, and also the director of many world-wide smash-hit films including Pretty Woman.
