Hong Kong doctors pay tribute to 90-year-old Gravesend missionary

Florence Hickson, from Gravesend, who worked as a missionary in Hong Kong for 29 years with Chinese refugees, celebrated her 90th birthday last week.

The Peace Clinic where she worked in Hong Kong has recently been refurbished and a new doctor’s room has been named The Florence Hickson Room, to mark her birthday and her dedication to her work.
