Police are appealing for witnesses

Police investigating allegations that a woman visiting a naturist club in Fawkham was raped by a gang of up to five men have made two arrests.

The incident allegedly took place at the Eureka Sun Club in Manor Lane near Longfield on Saturday, June 17 at around 2.30am.

The victim had been talking to a number of men inside a vehicle before returning to a nearby caravan where she was staying.

Between four and five men then allegedly stormed into the caravan, launching a sustained assault on their victim and stealing two mobiles phones.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Two men, aged 21 and 23 and from the London area, were arrested in connection with this allegation on July 10.

“They have been released pending further investigation.”

Owner of the club Mike Davies said: “We have security in place at all of our events and I personally have fully supported the police with their investigation so far.”

No arrests have been made, and police are appealing for witnesses to call 01622 604100, quoting reference YY/016153/17 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
