Industrial blaze in Northfleet

Fire crews in Gravesend tackled an industrial blaze last night (August 20).

At around 6pm two fire crews were sent to the blaze, which broke out in an industrial unit on the Springhead Enterprise Park in Northfleet.

Firefighters used hose reel jets to bring the fire under control, before entering the building to extinguish the flames completely. There were no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire in the unit, which is used as a spray oven, is unknown.
