Josh, who is best known for his appearances on The Last Leg, Fighting Talk, Insert Name Here, Have I Got News for You and his BBC Three sitcom ‘Josh’ will be joined by Woodville favourite Ant Payne who will be hosting the evening of entertainment on Thursday, November 15.

There will also be live music from the 15-piece Joe Ringer Band, who will play a mix of hits from the past 50 years and performances from dance duo Twist and Pulse - runners-up of the fourth series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2010.

Theatre manager Mandy Hare said: “Expect bubbles on arrival as you’re escorted to your cabaret table for canapes before the impressive 15-piece Joe Ringer band swing us through the ages with some dancefloor classics - guaranteed to get you into the party mood.

“We have had such an amazing year of birthday celebrations so far.

“We have offered free cinema to anyone that lives in Gravesham and is sharing their 50th birthday with us, plus kids that have been born in Gravesham during 2018 have become ‘Woodville Babies’ and have been presented with the opportunity to attend the theatre for free until they are 18 years old.

“We’ve had some great shows and given away prizes and gifts throughout the year too.

“There has even been a Woodville wedding, where a lucky couple were able to renew their vows and celebrate with us, free of charge.”

Ms Hare also thanked everyone who has been involved with the celebrations throughout the year, adding that welcoming new patrons as well as spending time with regulars, some of whom have been visiting the theatre for its 50 years, has been “lovely.”

She urged residents to book places at the final celebration: “We have a limited number of spaces at our party which is the finale of the celebrations, so make sure you book your place soon.”
