A PHOTOGRAPHER who snapped glamour model Jordan and her family on several occasions says her diva ways are likely to have led to the split with husband Peter Andre.
Reporter/Times photographer Andy Barnes has spent a lot of time snapping the model, whose real name is Katie Price, since her fairytale marriage to the Aussie singer. Having snapped Jordan during a book launch at Bluewater in June 2006, Danson Park festival in Bexleyheath a year later and the Cowdray Park polo club in West Sussex more recently, he is no stranger to her demands.
Mr Barnes, 46, said: "What I would say about Katie is that she is a very determined, very forthright woman and she knows what she wants. She can be very impatient and she doesn't suffer fools gladly.
"She's also a savvy business woman and knows what her product is, and what's going to help her sell it.
"She's a woman in control of her life and I have seen that she can be very dismissive of people if she doesn't like them.
"So I'm not totally surprised that Peter has had enough. I think she is a bit too abrupt for him - he's a big softy really. He's a nice guy, although a bit more cautious around people he doesn't know."
Mr Barnes met the couple at Danson Park festival two years ago and again at her dressage premiere at Hickstead show ground last June.
He added: "It's sad, because when I saw Peter at the Danson Park festival he was proclaiming his love for her up on stage, saying he was the happiest man in the world. He really loved her."
Last Friday Jordan hit the town in Bristol by herself and was pictured with her bra and boobs on show talking into the ear of a mystery man.
Peter reportedly called for a divorce after seeing pictures of Jordan's antics.
On Monday they released a statement saying they are separating after four-and-a half-years, although they have only been married for three-and-a-half-years. They married in September 2005 after meeting on the ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. They have two children together, Junior, three, and one-year-old Princess Tiaamii, while footballer Dwight Yorke is the father of Jordan's disabled son Harvey, six.
