EBBSFLEET Ladies returned to league action with a much-needed victory on Sunday to keep up the pressure on table-topping Denham Ladies, writes Tina Martin.

In a closely-contested fixture at AFC Wimbledon, both teams created their fair share of chances, but it was Fleet striker Kelly Campbell who took the one that mattered to settle the match.

Ebbsfleet are now seven points behind unbeaten Denham, but have two games in hand. They entertain bottom side Crowborough Athletic this Sunday at Fleet Leisure. Kick-off is at 2pm.
