Six team members from the Tunbridge Wells-based law firm completed a sponsored 26-mile walk, raising over £450, for hospice charity Ellenor at the weekend.

The fundraisers from CooperBurnett walked from London’s Tower Bridge to the charity’s adult hospice in Gravesend on Sunday, July 2.

Taking on the eight-hour challenge were Ellenor ambassador, Victoria Sampson, Lisa Connolly, Katie Hilsdon, Charlotte Mackenzie, Gareth Warner and Andrew Hawkins.

Ms Sampson said: “I am very proud of the team. We all loved doing the walk - the weather was beautiful and the company was great.

“The team spirit was fantastic – I think we all hit a wall at 20 miles, but we thought about the families we were supporting and pushed on through. We had a great reception when we got to the hospice in Gravesend and are now proud owners of a medal to mark our achievement.”
