The son of Strictly Come Dancing’s Len Goodman is on the search for local young talent to star in a new musical at London’s Courtyard Theatre.

With his dad being one of TV’s most famous ballroom dancers, who still runs the Len Goodman Dance Centre in Dartford, son James continued in the theatrical vein and runs a production company.

His new musical comedy The Sword and The Dope will run in April and will have a professional cast and director, but new undiscovered talent is in demand.

James said: “We have worked with young people in this area before so we know the ability that young performers have to offer. Talent is everywhere but often gets overlooked and young people don’t know where to go and take the first step.”
