The London-bound carriageway of the M20 is closed between junctions three and one for Swanley after a lorry jack-knifed.

Kent police were called at around 5am this morning after the lorry collided with the near-side barrier before sliding down an embankment near Farningham.

Motorists are being warned the road could remain closed until noon while the lorry is recovered.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service also attended the scene after reports of a fuel leak. The driver of the lorry suffered no injuries.
