A serious smash has left the M25 closed at junction two this lunchtime.

Police have closed the junction in a clockwise direction at the junction near Dartford.

Officers are diverting traffic over the junction to rejoin the carriageway on the other side.

Delays are currently stretching back to junction three, although queues are building and highways representatives have advised that motorists should take an alternative route if possible.
