Make your dog a star: Orchard Theatre needs animal to be in musical

Does your dog have star quality? The Orchard Theatre is looking for a four-legged cast member for its forthcoming production of Oliver!

The theatre needs a kind, obedient, medium-sized dog who is good with children to play Bill Sykes’ loyal canine companion Bullseye.

Auditions will take place on Wednesday, June 24 from 4pm to 5.30pm.

Both the dog and its handler – who must be 18 or over - must be available for rehearsal slots between Monday, August 3 and Wednesday, August 12, and to take part in four performances the following week.

Performances will be on Thursday, August 13 at 7.30pm, Friday, August 14 at 7.30pm and Saturday, August 15 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
