Man shot dead in West Norwood


Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was admitted to hospital with shotgun wounds to his head and body.

Police were called to Moorhen Walk, Greenhithe, on Monday after reports at around 9.50pm of shots heard, but when armed officers arrived the address was empty.

Darent Valley Hospital later alerted police that a 51-year-old man had been admitted by relatives that night with shotgun wounds.

He is currently in a stable condition.

Yesterday morning at 6am armed officers arrested a 42-year-old and 24-year-old on Sherwood Road, Tunbridge Wells, on suspicion of attempted murder.

Both remained in custody.
