Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Dartford

Kent Police were called to a disturbance yesterday (Tuesday) morning

A 32-year-old man from Dartford has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after reports of a “disturbance” in Henderson Drive.

Police were called to the address at 8.18am yesterday (Tuesday), as well as Secamb.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “It was reported that a man left the scene in a vehicle which, at 11.18am, was stopped near Taddington roundabout in Chatham.

A 32-year-old man from Dartford was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody.

Enquiries are on-going.”

The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to Darenth Valley Hospital with head and back injuries.
