Man charged with criminal damage after police called to Dartford shopping centre

Officers have charged a man with criminal damage after they were called to a shopping centre in Dartford.

Kent Police were called to The Orchard Shopping Centre at around 8.20pm on Saturday June 16 to a report of a person kicking a glass door inside the shopping centre.

When officers arrived they arrested a man just outside the centre.

Lisle Aylett, 27, of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, possession of cannabis and using threatening, abusive words and behaviour with intent to cause fear and unlawful violence.

Mr Aylett was bailed following the charges and is due to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on July 24.
