A 53-YEAR-OLD man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with attempting to murder two people on Christmas Eve.

Roger Mancini, of Gravesham Court, Gravesend was also charged with causing grievous bodily harm to a third person when he appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on Boxing Day.

He was arrested following a triple stabbing at the New Inn pub, Milton Road, Gravesend at about 9pm.

Mr Mancini was remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday January 7.

A 43-year-old woman, 42-year-old man and 24-year-old man were still in hospital on Thursday (27) where they are being treated for their injuries.
