Driver did not stop

A MAN in his 40s has died after being dragged under a car in a hit-and-run in Swanley at the weekend.

The man, who has not been named but who police say was local, died in Darent Valley Hospital following the accident in Lynden Way on Saturday.

Police were called just after 3.15pm. The driver did not stop after the accident.

Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, to call them on 101.
