POLICE are appealing for information on this man who allegedly exposed himself and committed a 'lewd act' in front of a woman on a train.

British Transport Police (BTP) officers are investigating a complaint from an 18-year-old woman in relation to the incident on a train between Northfleet and London Bridge.

Police have viewed CCTV footage and have now released images of a man they would like to speak with.

Andy Parkinson, of BTP's Public Protection Unit, has made a renewed appeal for information regarding the incident on March 21.

He said: "The female was sitting by herself onboard the train, when she was approached by a male who attempted to engage her in conversation.

"He then exposed himself and proceeded to commit a lewd act on himself in front of her."

The man is European in appearance, about 30-years-old, medium build and was wearing a shirt, light zip-up style jacket and carrying a black lap-top style bag.

It is thought that he may have connections with the Crayford and Lewisham areas. Call BTP on free phone 0800 405040.
