A man was found dead by police and ambulance services in Dartford this morning but police say his death is not being treated as suspicious.

Police and medics were called to help a man at a house in on Prince’s Road, near the Beadles Volkeswagon dealership in Dartford.

A Police spokesperson said: “Kent police was alerted at 10.33am to a report of concern for the welfare of a man at a private address in Dartford.

“The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his death is not being treated as suspicious.”

Pictures on social media showed police outside the house, with some Twitter users suggesting traffic problems could be caused in the area as a result.

@charmywoo tweeted: “Medical emergency and police on princes road by Beadles in dartford watch out because traffic is going to get bad, quick.”

However, police were unable to confirm whether delays had been caused, but it is believed that the area is now clear.
