Police have launched an appeal for information

A man in his 60s has been stabbed in an unprovoked attack in Gravesend.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which were not treated as life threatening, after the incident on Thursday, November 3.

He had been walking along Queen Street with another man between 10pm and 11pm, when the two were approached from behind by another man.

After reportedly stabbing the man in the back, the offender made off.

The suspect has been described as around 5ft 4in tall with a dark complexion and aged between 20 and 25 years old. He had short, straight black hair and was clean shaven.

He was reported to be wearing dark jeans with a black leather jacket.
