Man in hospital after head-on collision in Dartford

Firefighters helped rescue a trapped man after mutiple cars collided in Dartford last night (Thursday).
Crews were called to Oakfield Lane at around 7.30pm, and used hydraulic equipment to cut the roof of one of the vehicles off, to rescue the casualty from inside.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service reported up to four cars were involved in the collision.
The man, in his early 20s was taken to hospital by paramedics while fire crews made the scene safe.
Secamb confirmed paramedics were called to the scene of a head-on collision.
A spokesperson said: “One patient was trapped and had to be extricated and was taken on priority to Kings Hospital with leg and hip injuries; a second patient was taken to Medway Hospital with neck pain and two walking injured with arm injuries were taken to the Princess Royal, Orpington.
“At least three of the patients in the one car were male, ages unknown.”
