A 37-YEAR-OLD man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the chest.

Police were called to London Road, Northfleet at about 3.20am on Saturday following reports that a man had been stabbed.

The victim was taken to Darent Valley Hospital where he remains in a stable condition. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been made, although police said the public are not at risk from the offender.

Police cordoned off Dover Road up to Shepherd Street, along with the scene in London Road, as the investigated the incident.
