Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in the neck in Dartford at the weekend.

The incident was reported to have occurred in Spital Street between 2.15am and 2.50am on Saturday, August 20, during a disturbance reported to have involved up to 30 people.

A 25-year-old man received serious but non-life-threatening injuries consistent with a stab wound to his back. He was taken to a local hospital and discharged later the same day.

The suspect is described as a heavy built black man, around 6ft tall and aged in his twenties, who was wearing all dark clothing. He was seen with another black man who was described as slim and wearing a cap.
