Man who stole from employer ordered to pay £10,000 compensation

Ghalib Rahman stole from a shop in Greenhithe

A young man has been ordered to pay £10,000 in compensation after stealing from his employer.

Ghalib Rahman, 24, was stealing from the shop in Greenhithe between October last year and February this year.

Rahman, of Fleet Avenue, Dartford, admitted two counts of theft by employee at Dartford and Gravesham Magistrates’ Court.

He was also ordered to do 250 hours of unpaid work and pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
