Men accused of Marcus Innocent murder, including two from Dartford, to stand trial

The trial of nine of the 12 men accused of murdering Marcus Innocent, including two from Dartford, startss tomorrow.

Daniel Burgess, 32, of Weardale Avenue, and Perry Lee Sutton, 24, of Green Street Green Road, will appear before the Old Bailey charged with killing the 35-year-old in Woolwich on November 19 last year.

Mr Innocent was killed following a dispute with up to 20 people.

He died from a single bullet wound to the stomach.

The defendants have pleaded not guilty.
