Cherise Barfoot has been missing from her home in Durham since December 27.

A missing 15-year-old girl could be in Meopham after she was reported missing from her home in Durham last week.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned over the welfare of Cherise Barfoot, who was last seen at her home in Cockfield, near Bishop Auckland, on December 27.

She has family links to the Bromley and Chessington areas, and has also previously lived in Meopham - as well as Nottingham.

It is believed she was spotted in the Haringey area the day after she disappeared, but she could now be anywhere in the Greater London area.

Cherise is described as a light-skinned black girl, with shoulder-length blonde hair, of slim build and around 5’ 2” tall. She was last seen wearing a black padded jacket with a fur hood, grey tracksuit bottoms and black Nike trainers.

Pc Richard Teall, of Bromley’s Missing Persons Unit, said: “Cherise is a vulnerable young girl and we are keen to locate her as quickly as possible to ensure that she is safe and well.

“We would urge anyone who might have seen her or has been in contact with her to get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information on Cherise’s whereabouts should contact Bromley police on 020 8284 8766, or call Missing People on 116 000.
