The search for a missing man has been called off after a body was found.

Police who had been appealing for information on the whereabouts of Scott Davis, 33, attended an address in Valley Drive, Gravesend, on Sunday afternoon, where they made the discovery.

It is thought to be the home of Mr Davis who was last seen at the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother hospital in Thanet at about 10.20am a day earlier.

His family has been informed and police said the death is not being treated as suspicious.

A post mortem examination is due to take place this week to determine the cause of death.
