Walkers joined the Mayor of Gravesham, Cllr Mick Wenban, as he continued the ancient tradition of ‘Beating the Bounds’ on Saturday and Sunday.

Over the weekend, 75 walkers of all ages took part, including a number of scouts, walking the boundaries of Gravesham and covering 30 miles to raise funds for the mayor’s charities which this year will focus on the young, elderly and vulnerable in the borough.

The walk was sponsored by Ebbsfleet United Football Club, Sainsbury’s, Morrison’s, The Villager in Vigo, The Three Crutches, The Stone Horse in Frindsbury, The Green Man in Longfield, Luddesdown Parish Council and The Ship & Lobster.
