A motorcyclist in his 60s is in a stable condition after suffering ‘life-changing’ injuries in a three-vehicle crash over the weekend.

Fire crews, paramedics and police were all called to Ship Lane in Sutton-at-Hone, near Darenth, at 10am on Saturday, June 24, in the wake of the crash, which also involved a grey Vauxhall Vivaro van and a bicycle.

The motorcyclist was rushed to hospital, where police say his condition remains “serious but stable”.

Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now looking into the incident and appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the vehicles immediately before or at the time of the collision.

Police have revealed the colour of the motorbike is black.
